Scott Falls Roadside Park

Scott Falls Roadside Park is a pleasant little picnic area on the side of M-28 just east of Au Train. The park has a nice beach, and the views from Lake Superior are quite nice. Scott Falls is directly across the highway. The stream from the falls flows through a culvert, under the highway, through the park, and out into Lake Superior.

Accessibility

The park is publicly accessible, but the parking area is closed during the late fall, winter, and early spring. There are picnic tables, a water pump, and pit toilettes. The terrain, except for the beach area, is mostly flat.

Bottom Line

It's a nice park. Stop. Walk the beach. Look at the falls.
